During his inaugural speech as President of the United States, Donald Trump declared the beginning 

of a new "Golden Era" for the country and assured that the "decline" of the nation had come to an 

end with his return to the White House. In a message charged with nationalism, the incumbent 

promised to restore prosperity, security, and pride in America.

"From today on, the United States will be stronger, more prosperous, and more respected than ever 

before. This is the rebirth of our nation, a historic moment in which we regain our sovereignty and 

restore justice," Trump said before a large crowd in Washington.

The president reiterated his commitment to putting "America First" and outlined the pillars of his 

agenda for the next four years, centered on strengthening national security, revitalizing the 

economy, and reforming government institutions. Trump emphasized the need to balance "the scales of 

justice" and promised to put an end to what he described as the "vicious and unjust use" of 

government agencies.
